January 1, is almost everyone's New Year. And so calendar wise it is a way to mark the cycle of 365.25 days, the winter solstice, and a bleak view of the possibilities, unless you reside south of the equator where it is summer and quite sunny. New beginnings are blessings in disguise, and allow for redemption as well as revision to the path one has chosen to follow.
